41 Weeks

Well, I'm 41 weeks along and still pregnant!!

I can't believe I'm still not in labor!

I've been having a few contractions every day but nothing that's consistent.

Barbie and her family left for Florida this morning and Jessica leaves for Utah tonight so surely I'll be in labor tomorrow because that's just the way things work!

I'm really not looking forward to being induced, it actually really scares me. Barbie was induced with Nash and she said that if she can do it then surely I can. That doesn't make it any less scary.

For those of you that think that I haven't tried everything, you're wrong. I even tried the nasty castor oil! I got it down twice and then threw it right back up both times. I'm thinking Cole was protesting!

We had a non stress test done on Monday and he is just as happy as can be in there!

Sometimes he lays really lopsided in there!

So, I price matched some rocks at Sutherlands on Wednesday night. They were 1.89 each at Sutherlands and Menards (in Topeka) was selling them for .89 each. So I bought 100 and finally have my retaining wall in the front yard! We tore the old stuff out over a year ago when we did the front deck and the roof and it was just bare dirt until Wednesday night. I couldn't pass up saving $100 dollars!!!

We did 3 layers and it looks awesome! Well, by "we" I mean I supervised and Josh, Cory and Phil laid the bricks down. Next step is dirt to fill in, plant some pretty things in there and then lay down some grass seed in front of the rock. I can't wait until it's all done but even just the bricks laid down looks better than what it did!
