31 Weeks

Baby Cole is the size of a Pineapple!!

His 5 senses are now in working order and his body temperature is now partially being regulated by parts of the brain.

 31 Weeks

I went for a walk last night. I walked the mile loop around our road. Ranger and I walked it as quickly as we could and it took us 10 minutes. We also had to stop twice for him to poop and about 15 times for him to pee. We are hoping to cut our time by a couple of minutes over the next 9 weeks.

Josh's grandma made these cute little receiving blankets for the baby. She also showed me some of the most adorable outfits that she has already bought for him! Josh found one that he thinks Cole is wearing home from the hospital! She is also making him a quilt with trains on it. I also got to see the beginnings of a quilt that Emily is making that'll match our baby room perfectly!

Our shower is two weeks from tomorrow and I'm so excited to see everyone! Also, that morning Barbie is going to do maternity pictures for us! Can't wait to have those!

We got a boat from my dad. It was my grandpas that my dad is passing down to us. Josh is SO excited to go fishing in it when the weather gets nice!



30 weeks! 75% down! 3/4 of the way there!!

ONLY 10 MORE WEEKS!!

Our little man is the size of a cucumber and weighs about 3 pounds. He may not be very big but his hands are now strong enough to grasp a finger!

He also had his first episode of hiccups the other day! I was sitting at work and I kept feeling rhymthic little jumps! Either he was playing the drums or he had hiccups!

 Cool thing happened last night. Josh and I were laying in bed and I was curled up next to Josh where my stomach was touching his side and Cole decided to say hi to daddy by bringing his elbow or fist or knee across my stomach multiple times. It was so cute and Josh said it felt like Ranger was laying next to him and moving around.

The church sent out shower invites last week and I know Barbie got her's this week! I'm so excited for shower day!!

 I painted my front door over the weekend while Josh was gone and he hates it! I think it's cute and once we get our landscaping done in front of the house, it'll look even cuter!

I had a little pregnancy brain scare the other day. I was downstairs doing laundry when Josh yells down that I just got a package in the mail from Target.... I thought and thought and thought and I couldn't remember anything that I had bought from Target. I was really worried that I had ordered something and just forgot about it! Luckily that wasn't the case! Instead we received the first item off our registries!! Josh's grandma bought us our diaper bag!!! I'm so excited to start getting it all filled up for the hospital!

Only 77 more days until our little Cole is here!

Our baby is the size of an acorn squash and will be tripling his weight in the next 11 weeks.

Framed some artwork for the nursery. I'm so excited to start decorating and putting things together in the baby room! Our shower is 4 weeks from Saturday and from there it'll all get put together so fast!

Tuesday was our big appointment day! We had our 3D sonogram then I passed my glucose test and then I got a shot in the rear end. While I'm standing there waiting for the nurse to give me my shot Josh tells me "it'll be alright." I told him that he's going to need to work on his encouragement before labor gets here! Then he tells me that being pregnant is like being a mechanic because we both experience pain but I know when mine is coming and his is unexpected, like when he smashes his hand in something.... Yeah.... not the same at all....

During our sonogram, Cole had his hands up by his face mostly the whole time. Once the sonographer got him to move his hands and he reached down and grabbed his toes. It was super cute! Our pictures didn't turn out as well as expected because he is already head down and didn't have a lot of fluid by his face so the 3D pictures were hard to get.

 This is just a regular sonogram pictures but look at how cute his profile is!

You can see in this picture how his head is tucked into a little nook and that's why we couldn't see his face very well.

 With his hands in front of his face, almost like he is trying to hide from the paparazzi taking his pictures!

 Big feet! She kept telling us that his feet are big - not like birth defect big but big. You can see his big toe is actually on the bottom of the picture and his second toe is much longer than his first. He gets that and the big feet from his daddy's side, for sure!

Third Trimester!!! 28 weeks

So glad to be entering into our third trimester!!! 2/3rds of the way there! I'm so excited to meet our little man!!

 

Our little Cole man is the size of an eggplant and is putting on layers of fat.

This week he can blink his eyes which now have lashes!

My only really big complaint about being pregnant right now is that my hips/lower back stinking hurt all the time! No matter how much water I drink and no matter how many breaks I take to stand up and stretch everything out... it hurts! I'm hoping that pain will go away when I don't have this baby growing inside me anymore!

I took this picture yesterday morning to remember my last day of second trimester!

Easter Sunday with David, Em, and Phil... We were trying to show off our bumps. This is a good picture to show how low our little man is! On a side note... when did everyone else get so tall and leave me to be so short??

Saturday was Erica's 25th birthday party at Dave and Busters and my mom and I got to cuddle this little guy most of the night. This was a picture we sent to Uncle Josh to show him how much fun we were having!

Josh FINALLY made it back from Oklahoma Tuesday night. I know that him and Cory had a good time but I missed my hubs so much while he was gone!! Cory and Tamara found out that they are having a little boy too so now the competition of the boys is on! I can already see the guys in a couple years ready to go back to Oklahoma and bring the boys for their man trip!
