6 Months

Happy 6 months old baby boy! You are still by far the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and your dad! You are growing up and learning some cool new things every single day. I'm amazed at how fast the last 6 months has flown by! Before we know it, we will be having a first birthday party!!

 

You made this face when you were clearly done taking pictures!

 

 

The light reflecting in your eye is the Christmas tree! You loved to cuddle with mommy in the rocking chair by the lights of the tree.

 

You and Ranger have a special bond that I don't quite understand.

 

You are obsessed with chewing on fingers!

 

This was the first time you sat up all by yourself. You have that trick mastered now!

 

This is what you do when you come to work with me, write daddy notes and then send him pictures.

 

You love to play daddy's drum set at the church. You like to chew on the sticks too.

 

I let you hold onto a baseball glove at Hibbett's the other day and you were obsessed! You even cried when I had to put it back! You think you're already ready for it!

 

You saw Santa and you just smiled and laughed the whole time! Such a happy baby!

 

You were great at opening presents this year! You wanted to chew on the paper more than get to what was inside the boxes, though.

 

You helped Grandpa Jochem open his coffee mug and then you chewed on it!

Aunt Em got us a moby wrap for Christmas and you LOVE being carried around in it!

4 and 5 months

 

I don't even know what to say about you in this post. Your daddy and I are just over the moon about you. You smile and you laugh and giggle! You are tall and skinny and you love sucking on your fingers.

 

You're getting really close to crawling. You get your knees under you and can't pick up your head then put your legs straight and pick up your head and then over and over again.

Daddy gets you ready for bed every night and you just adore him.

We like to make fun faces for the camera.

 

Sleeping on daddy at the church's thanksgiving meal. You had too much fun!

 

You LOVE sucking on your toes and you're getting pretty good at sitting up alone. You love the Christmas tree and if I let you get close to it, you grab ahold of the branches and ornaments and you don't let go. You also like to grab ahold of my hair and pull it!

3 Months

3 months old!!

We did family pics for Neena's birthday and you were super cute!!!

We flew to Pennsylvania and you were an awesome plane rider! You slept the entire time!

We went to Geno's for Cheesesteaks and you were not happy because you couldn't have any!

Waking up at my cousin's house and you loved it in Philly!

You went to the ocean and the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ

You even slept the whole flight home!

We bought you a piano play mat. There is a piano that you kick with your feet and it plays music and you grab at these toys. This was the first time you really grabbed ahold of them. Your hand eye coordination is getting pretty good!

You went to the courthouse with me and Big Country gave you a junior deputy badge!

You now like to make a baby duck lip face every time I pull out the camera. It cracks me up!!!

Sucking your thumb? You've only done it a couple times. You love putting your hands in your mouth right now and this time you just caught your thumb.

This was the day after you turned 3 months. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary with you at Red Lobster.

This was 2 days after you turned 3 months. 10-8-13. I know it should be added to next month but I'm doing this post 2 days late so it's getting added in. You rolled over for the very first time this  morning! You sleep on your stomach at night and I checked on you at 6:45am. By 7 I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and I heard you wake up. When I went into your room to get you, you had rolled over to your back! This was the look on your face when I was so excited about you rolling over... "Hey mom, I just rolled over.... Now get me up and feed me!"

I can't believe you are already 2 months old!

Your first golf cart ride out at grandma and grandpa's house. We went down to the pond.

 

You started napping in your crib and on 9-3-13 you slept all night in your crib by yourself! You still got up to eat at 3:00 but other than that you slept from 10-6 in your crib!

Although you're sleeping in your crib, you prefer to sleep right here on mommy's arm!

With your cousins! Vin absolutely adores you!

You started recognizing my face and smiling when I talk to you. The first time you did it was my first day back at work 8-20-13. This was the second time that you did it, we were at church Wed night and I was changing you in the nursery.

Aunt E came to visit with your cousins.

We went to see Jessica and you passed out in her arms.

These are the faces you make when you're pooping, I think they're pretty cute!

We go hang out on the back porch and you just love it out there!

You came to work with me one day and you just passed out! You do that a lot!

You still hate tummy time!
